About the Author:
Revd David W John is 60 years old, married to Iveta, he has 3 children, Daniel 30, Carla 7 and Casey 6. David has been an ordained Priest for 20 years and served as a Police officer for 30 years. During his Police service David was presented with 6 Commendations for bravery and dedication to duty. On his retirement he was presented with the Exemplary service and good conduct medal.
David was originally ordained into the Church of England whilst still a serving officer and carried out his duties as a Police officer and self supporting Priest for 10 years in north west London. On his retirement from the Police service David was appointed as the Vicar of the Iwerne Valley Benefice in North Dorset.
Having spent 30 years as a Police Office in London and 20 years as an ordained Minister within the Church of England David has been exposed to the breadth of human experience. During both careers he has sought to contextualise and apply his faith and theology into the situations, lives, and experiences of those he has attempted to minister to. 'My God, your God, Who?' Is the result of this process.
As David explains;
